LEGISLATION ON ABORTION AND WOMEN'S RIGHT TO HEALTH

Abstract

The present article seeks to present a reflection on abortion, from a brief retrospective of the different abortion methods used over time, and to raise what was, and is, considered the initial milestone of human life. It will also address countries that follow restrictive laws on the topic and the relationship of these restrictions to women's health. The methodological approach used in the research was qualitative, and a bibliographic research was carried out that raised academic articles and documents dealing with the theme addressed. The selected material was read from an analytical critical perspective.
